Tonight I had my oboe recital.
Thanks to those who were able to attend.
It's nice to be done with the recital, my auditions, and one orchestra concert.
I've heard back from FSU and UNCG, and was accepted to both. I passed my recital (so all I have left are my oral exam, and my 'scholarly paper'). Here is a review from Deseret News about Saturday's concert. If you look at the seventh paragraph, I (English Horn) received a mention! Huzzah.
It has been a good week for oboe playing.

Congratulations on solos that were "beautifully played and wonderfully executed." You're basically famous and in the news.
