I think about things like this a lot, random words that are sorta not standard and where they come from. One that I noticed when my family moved into our current ward when I was 9 was BEAUTIMOUS. I'm assuming you could trace it to BEAUTY and GLAMOROUS. Dunno. Ahhh, these things are so fun!
